MICO

RøR is a TV stand design that combines functionality and minimalism in a unique way.

With the given opportunity of Samsung’s invisible cable technology, RøR discovers another dimension where the TV stand is no longer a lone standing object that only carries a TV. This “out-of-the-box” approach transforms the unit into a functional and beautiful piece of furniture that easily adapts to any user and any space by allowing users to decorate it in their own unique style while melting in the environment.

This flexibility comes from RøR’s minimalistic tubular structure. By combining the metal tubes with a weight element and a shelf unit, the design is not only offers a stable architecture to carry a TV, but also creates an elegant canvas to the user to help them making their own art.

Being inspired by Scandinavian design philosophy and it’s human-centric values, RøR achieves to create a sophisticated look as well as introduce a new way to welcome a TV into users’ lives and space more respectfully.

Mico is an innovative tech pouch that adapts to users' needs within seconds. With an intuitively designed folding mechanism, Mico's two compartments rotate and transform into different geometries. This flexibility not only provides a multitude of storage options but also, adapts to various needs including docking, charging, and gaming.

Its unique adaptational capacity is no coincidence. It's a result of deliberate design and fine-tuning of Mico's form and proportion. Each surface, each angle is perfected to each routine that users perform. Combining this with N52 Neodymium magnets, every transformation is quick, snappy, and provides a satisfying tactile sensation. Plus, the strengthened magnetization keeps the form intact reliably.

Mico is a cradle-to-cradle product that is not only highly durable but also eco-friendly. The exterior is covered with 100% recycled polyester, which is both water & stain-resistant. Underneath the fabric, there is a recycled EVA structure that protects both the stored delicate items inside and the pouch's form from all external pressure.

As the magnets and silicone pads are strategically positioned on each docking surface, Mico can reliably hold all sizes of devices at a perfect viewing angle. With its hidden pockets for wireless chargers, dedicated power bank storage, and cable slits, the pouch gives the ability to instantly power any device on the go.

By maximizing its usable footprint, Mico can store a wide range of essentials, from items as small as a SIM card to ones as big as a Nintendo Switch or portable battery; and the array of compartments makes organizing and locating them a breeze.

We gave this design a high score because it isn’t confined to a certain limit but is flexible enough to freely transform according to users’ tastes.
